Fun events to help Hospice East Rand raise funds
Hospice East Rand has a number of fun ways you can help raise funds.
In order to keep offering services to the public, Hospice East Rand has a number of fund-raising events planned.
• Hospice East Rand Portuguese Feast:
Donate R100 in support of Hospice East Rand and you will be entered into a draw to win a three-course Portuguese feast and a cooking demonstration for 10 people, with drinks included.
The feast takes place at Mimi Jardim’s Cooking School in Edenvale on October 26.
The prize draw will take place on October 19 and the winner will be notified via phone or email.
• Tickets for the musical Mathilda, based on a book by Roald Dahl:
The event takes place at Montecasino on October 21.
The bus departs from Hospice East Rand at 3pm and the show starts at 6pm.

• Trip to Wyndford Farm, Fouriesburg, Free State:
The trip takes place from November 11 to 16 with only 20 places available.
Passports will be required for the day trip to Lesotho.
During the tour you will visit the following places:
• The town of Clarens.
• Noah’s Cheese.
• Bald Ibis Winery.
• Lesotho Highlands Water Project.
• Makoadi Angora Farm.
• Highland Essential Oils.
• The Mud Studio and Cave Church.
• Ionia Cherry Farm.
