Corinthians no match for Luso

Luso Africa Football Club bags an easy win against Corinthians Football Club’s eight-man team.

Luso Africa Football Club welcomed Corinthians Football Club to their home, Hattingh Park, in the latest Eastern Local Football Association (ELFA) Super League clash on Saturday.

The first team faced a scanty Corinthians Football Club first team which only fielded eight players.

Luso quickly dominated, capitalising on every shot-on-goal played.

The Corinthians defenders and goalkeeper had their work cut out for them with all their tactics bypassed by the domineering Luso.

At half-time, the score was 11-0.

With a lack of players and showing no competitive streak on the pitch, Corinthians further suffered in the second half when Luso continued adding points on the scoreboard.

Luso won the match 23-0.

The second team had a walk-over as Corinthians could not field a team.

The teams will play cup games on Thursday at Hattingh Park.

The first team will play against Sporting Football Club and the second team will face Boksburg Football Club.

The teams will again play host to long-time rivals Randburg Football Club in ELFA Super League fixtures on Saturday.
