Eighty-one-year-old Charles Joubert and his 79-year-old bride Cynthia, celebrate their diamond anniversary.
“I constantly bet my wife R20 000 to tell people how we met, she can never bring herself to do it.
“Would you like to know why?” mocked Charles Joubert.
Charles and his wife Cynthia, from Wychwood, recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.
The two were joined in holy matrimony on July 25, 1958.
