Local company celebrates Madiba’s life with the children

Kids Haven received a welcome donation from a Germiston company on Mandela Day.

It was all about children on Mandela Day, on Wednesday, for local company Stupel & Berman Inc.

They visited Kids Haven in Benoni to spend time with the 90 children in the organisation’s care.

The staff of Stupel & Berman Inc collected 50 bags of clothing and books which were donated to the organisation.

Stupel & Berman Inc staff enjoyed themselves when they visited Kids Haven in Benoni on Mandela Day. Showing off the donations they made to the organisation are, Michelle Koekemoer, Corrie Nolan, Seetha Bridglall, Susan Drude, Jabulani Metsing, Ranji Martin, Jean-Mari Ross-Allen, Palesa Seema (director), Bets Visser, Daryl Geldenhuys (director) and Lizelle Potgieter.

Adele Koolen, one of the Top 25 finalists in the Tammy Taylor Mrs South Africa competition, joined the company on the day, opening her heart and donating toys and clothes.

National Hygiene donated toilet paper and Lizelle Potgieter sponsored toiletries.

To the children’s delight, party packs and cupcakes were distributed while Darin the Magician entertained them.

Laughter filled the air and everyone ended the day remembering Nelson Mandela who would have been 100 years old on July 18.
