The challenge will take place during the Ekurhuleni Youth Economic Summit set to be held from June 14 to 15 at the Birchwood Hotel and Conference Centre in Boksburg.

Youth in business are encouraged to apply for the two-day programme which includes a compulsory workshop aimed at equipping young people with skills to pitch at the Lions’ Den Pitching Challenge for amazing prize packages and to attract potential investors.

The session is poised to be an exhilarating experience filled with lessons from an award-winning team of youth entrepreneurs coupled with expert advice from an esteemed panel of judges.

The competition is open to any Ekurhuleni resident who is:

• Between the ages of 16 and 35.

• Operating a youth-owned business in the metro.

• Not an employee of the metro.
