Busy week for Primrose police

Primrose police share their latest arrest statistics.

It has been a busy week for the Primrose police.

Officers arrested 50 suspects for various offences between May 30 and June 6, this is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the Primrose Police Station.

Charges included possession of drugs, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, common assault, driving under the influence of alcohol, house robbery, domestic violence, armed robbery, fraud, possession of suspected stolen property, rape, murder, malicious damage to property, shoplifting, contempt of court and warrant of arrest.

The Primrose SAPS’s station commander, Col Albertina Vesi, thanked everyone who contributed to the successful arrests.

Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court where some had their cases postponed for various reasons while others paid admission of guilt fines and were released.
