Operation Fiela continues in the streets of Germiston

During a patrol of the streets of Germiston, as part of the on-going Operation Fiela, officers from the Germiston Police Station confiscated a number of counterfeit products. The operation, which was launched in Germiston on February 21, sees officers from all departments of the SAPS and EMPD joining forces to take a stand against crime.

Teenage boys attacked by two adults

Two boys aged 16 were allegedly assaulted by two adults, a man and a woman, on March 16, outside Sunnyridge Primary School while they were waiting to collect their younger siblings. The altercation allegedly ensued when the man struck the boys as he made his way out of the school.

Police warn children to be alert

As the school holidays approached, the Primrose police appealed to parents and children to be extra aware of their surroundings and to be vigilant when finding weekend jobs.

Dangerous weapons confiscated from local tavern

Officers from the Germiston Police Station embarked on a patrol of a number of local taverns recently. At one of the taverns, police discovered and confiscated a number of dangerous weapons.
