Are you, your mom, dad, brother, sister, child, neighbour, colleague or friend a hero in your community?
If so then we want to know all about it.
Even if you don’t consider yourself a hero everyone else might feel differently.
The GCN wants to showcase the work people are doing in the community and what better way to do this than by honouring our community heroes.
All you have to do is pop us an email with a brief motivation as to why you see this person as a local hero and include his/her contact details and we will do the rest.
Emails must be sent to germistoncitynews@caxton.co.za with the words Local Hero in the subject line.
Please include a description of the person and his/her heroic acts in the body of the email, together with contact details and the suburb in which the hero resides.
