Player and host of the 107th BMW SA Open Golf Championship, Ernie Els and Emperors Palace’s general manager Clive Tavener chatted at the gala dinner and prize-giving for the Pro-Am of the SA Open Championship held at Emperors Palace, last Tuesday.
Els, who has won the championship on numerous occasions, participated in the event at Glendower Golf Club in Edenvale from January 11 to 14.
The field included the likes of double US Open champion Retief Goosen, 2011 Masters champion Charl Schwartzel, 2016 champion Brandon Stone and 2017 Nedbank Golf Challenge winner Branden Grace.
