Dojo celebrates students’ achievements
Tebbutt’s Mixed Martial Arts Academy honours its students.
The students and parents from Tebbutt’s Mixed Martial Arts Academy came together recently to celebrate an excellent year.
The year-end prize-giving, held at the Germiston City Sports Club, saw students honoured for their hard work and dedication throughout the year.
Owner of the academy Kanchu Alex Tebbutt thanked everyone for making the year a great success.
A special guest, in the form of Shihan Abdullatiff Jogie, joined the celebration.
Jogie hails from Durban and is Tebbutt’s mentor.
“I came up to lead a Zumba class at the club on the Friday evening,” Jogie said.
“Quite a few students and parents took part and due to this wonderful response Zumba will be introduced into the dojo on a weekly basis.”
