Fourteen suspects were arrested in Katlehong on Thursday during Katlehong police’s on-going festive season stop-and-search operations.
The operation was held by officers from the Katlehong Crime Prevention Unit and detectives from the Katlehong Police Station.
The accused were arrested for various offences.

Crimes included:
• Assault with the intent to do grievous bodily harm: 5
• Theft: 2
• Possession of dagga: 2
• Armed robbery: 1
• Shoplifting: 1
• Sexual assault: 1
• Pointing a firearm: 1
• Possession of drugs: 1
All of the suspects appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court, where their cases were postponed for various reasons.
