As part of the Katlehong police’s festive season plan daily stop-and-searches are being held in the area.
Last Tuesday, during one of these operations held by officers from the Katlehong Crime Prevention Unit, four suspects were arrested.
The accused were charged with various offences.

Charges included:
• Assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm: 2
• Common assault: 1
• Malicious damage to property: 1
All of the suspects were taken to the Katlehong Police Station where they were held pending their appearance in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court.
