WATCH: EFF protests ’illegal evictions’ by marching in Germiston

Protesting EFF members take to the streets of the CBD.

EFF members marched on the Germiston Civic Centre this afternoon (Thursday) allegedly protesting what they are calling illegal evictions in Ekurhuleni.

They met near the Delport informal settlement and took to the streets of the CBD closely monitored by members of the SAPS and EMPD.

Upon arrival at the civic centre they converged on front of the main entrance singing songs of protest.

The GCN has requested comment from the EFF and the metro.

More details will follow when they become available.
