Sector Three gets new sector commander

Const David Chauke to take over as Primrose Sector Three sector commander.

It was recently announced that the Primrose police’s Sgt Khomotso Seopa would hand over the reins as Primrose Sector Three sector commander to Const David Chauke.

Chauke, who joined the SAPS in 2008, is described as a young and dedicated officer who is willing and ready to learn and make a difference in the community.

The constable is not new to the sector, which is made up of Malvern East, Wychwood, Pencil Park, Simmerfield, Dania Park, Creston Hill, Dawnview, as well as, the upper part of Primrose central from Rietfontein and Violet roads, as he has previously been part of the patrol team who patrolled this area.

“We hope that the community will welcome Chauke warmly and work hand in hand with him,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.
