Action at local derby

The Mustangs and Spartans Rugby League Clubs went head-to-head on the weekend.

The Mustangs and Spartans Rugby League Clubs took to the field at the Elspark Sports Grounds on Saturday.

Both clubs are from Elspark which created some local derby action.

Spartans had a good start and took total control early in the game, but failed to sustain it.

This enabled their local rivals to turn the tables and take the lead.

It was an action-packed match as both teams fought for dominance but Mustangs proved to be stronger and their dominance was well rewarded with a 52-30 win.
