Busy week for Primrose police

The Primrose police share their latest arrest statistics.

Twenty-two suspects were arrested in the Primrose area from August 12 to 19.

This is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the Primrose Police Station.

The suspects were arrested on a number of different charges.

These included possession of drugs, business robbery, common robbery, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, common assault, theft, driving under the influence of alcohol, malicious damage to property, reckless and negligent driving, contempt of court and shoplifting.

The Primrose SAPS station commander, Col Albertina Vesi, thanked everyone who contributed to these successes.

Most of the suspects have appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court and their cases have been postponed for various reasons, while others paid admission of guilt fines and were released.
