The Germiston SAPS received a call about an alleged murder in Dukathole Extension Nine, last Sunday.
The police rushed to the home of the witness where they were informed about the alleged murder of a 28-year-old male.
“According to the witness, the deceased and the suspect had an argument at one of the taverns in Dukathole,” said Capt George Raphulu, head of communications for the Germiston SAPS.
“During the argument, the suspect allegedly assaulted the deceased and stabbed him under the armpit.
“The man was taken to hospital where he later died.”

The suspect was found at his home in Dukathole with the knife he had allegedly used to stab the deceased.
He was arrested and detained at the Germiston police station and the case is under investigation.
