Police hard at work

The Primrose police release their arrest statistics.

The Primrose police had a busy week between July 17 and July 23 with 25 arrests being made.

The suspects were arrested for various crimes, including possession of drugs, assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, common assault, rape, possession of an unlicensed firearm, theft, reckless and negligent driving, driving under the influence of alcohol and shoplifting.

Primrose police station commander Col Albertina Vesi thanked everyone who contributed to these successes.

Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court. Some of the cases were postponed but suspects who paid admission of guilt fines, were released.
