Gospel festival set to inspire

Carnival City hosts fifth annual Business Premium Gospel Festival.

Much anticipated year after year, the final leg of Business Premium Weekend 2017 will take place at Carnival City’s Big Top Arena on August 12.

The Business Premium Gospel Festival features the top names in the South African gospel music industry and promises to be a powerful night of praise and worship.

“This event is back by popular demand and we are thrilled to be hosting all these artists, on one stage, in one electrifying night,” said Michelle Smith, Carnival City’s marketing manager.

Multi-award winning gospel producer and former Joyous Celebration music director Nqubeko Mbatha will take to the stage at the festival for an inspiring performance.

Musician, gospel singer, producer and profound songwriter, Mbatha studied and mastered music and has certainly become a force to be reckoned with.

He boasts three solo musical accolades and several nominations and has worked as a musical director for the TV shows “I Want To Sing Gospel” and “Gospel Classics” and has played for the likes of Mafikizolo, Malaika, Joyous Celebration and several others.

Ntokozo Mbambo, a multi award-winning gospel artist and one of South Africa’s leading women in gospel will be performing at the Business Premium Gospel Festival at Carnival City on August 12.

Set to join Nqubeko on stage is Ntokozo Mbambo, a multi award-winning gospel artist and one of South Africa’s leading women in gospel.

Born and raised by worshippers, recording her first album at just 14 years of age and joining Joyous Celebration at the age of 15, she progressed from being a member, to a lead singer, voice coach and eventually a songwriter.

Fifteen years in the music industry has secured Mbambo numerous awards including SAMA awards, Crown Gospel Awards and an Africa Gospel Music Award.

Fans can expect nothing less than another awe-inspiring performance by this top artist.
