The Primrose police are appealing to the community for anyone with information about two murders that took place in the Makause informal settlement, last Saturday, to come forward.
“Police need any information that may help lead to the arrest and prosecution of the suspects involved in the murders,” said Sgt Styles Maome, the communications officer for the Primrose SAPS.
“In the first incident, a 35-year-old victim was shot and killed near his home in the Makause informal settlement.
“Det-Const Petunia Nhlapo is the investigating officer on the case and can be reached on 083 346 8228.”
The victim in the second incident was also shot.
“The victim was shot three times in the upper body and Det-WO Mothibedi Ntsane is the investigating officer,” said Maome.
“Ntsane is appealing to a man known as ‘Madiba’ to come forward and help police with the investigation of the second incident.
“Anyone who knows ‘Madiba’ or his whereabouts can contact the officer or contact the Primrose police on 011 776 1600.”
