Din-Al-View residents urged to attend this meeting

Residents and CPF members are encouraged to vote for the new Din-Al-View CPF committee at AGM.

The Din-Al-View CPF is the link between the SAPS and the residents and employees of Germiston Sector Five.

The headquarters of the Cluster CPF is situated at the Germiston Police Station and Sector Five is the area of Germiston bounded by the N3 highway to the west, the N17 highway to the north and east and the railway line towards the south.

This includes Dinwiddie, Albemarle, Castleview, Union and Norton Small Farms.

Membership of the CPF is open to anyone residing or working within the sector.

There is no charge or any fees payable to become a member of the CPF.

Din-Al-View has an active elected committee which oversees the day-to-day running of the forum.

A special Din-Al-View CPF AGM will be held on August 30 at Dinwiddie High School to elect a new committee.

All CPF members are encouraged to attend this meeting and vote for their representatives on the committee, who perform the vital task of improving the safety of the sector.

Residents may become registered members of the Din-Al-View CPF and be eligible to vote by contacting the public relations officer Louise Combrink on 072 236 6721 or by attending the general CPF meeting on the last Wednesday of the month at Dinwiddie High School.

The next general meeting is due to take place on July 26 at 6.30pm.

Any member of the CPF may nominate another member to stand for election to the committee by completing a nomination form before August 23.

If a member is unable to attend and vote at the AGM, a proxy form may be completed to enable another member to vote on their behalf.

These forms will be available soon.

All residents and CPF members are urged to attend this meeting as a matter of importance for the safety of the community.
