Wheelie bins to be rolled out in Ward 36 on Saturday

Ward 36 residents can collect their wheelie bins.

Wendy Morgan, the ward councillor for Ward 36, has informed the GCN that wheelie bins for residents in Ward 36 will be rolled out on June 3.

The bins will be rolled out at Potgieter Park, situated on Main Road in Fishers’ Hill, come to the entrance in Jupiter Road.

Residents are required to bring a copy of their rates account, as well as their ID along.

“If you are renting bring a copy of the property owner’s ID with you,” said Morgan.

The bins will be handed out between 10am and 5pm and there is no charge for a bin.

“The cost for refuse on your account will be charged as normal.

“If you take more than one bin you will be charged an additional amount per bin per month,” Morgan said.

Morgan added she would pass on more information to residents regarding the wheelie bins and the collection of refuse when it becomes available.
