Children to bring light to the needy

Support the Dinky Dolly Nursery School Lantern Walk and donate to the needy.

Dinky Dolly Nursery School will once again be holding a Lantern Walk.

The event is set to take place on June 2, at 6pm.

The community can meet the children at the Elsburg Town Hall, from where they will walk to the school carrying their lanterns.

The aim of the event is to collect as many warm clothes and blankets for the needy as possible – so have your donations ready for the children.

At the school vetkoek and mince, as well as coffee, will be on sale.

This year people are encouraged to be creative and make/buy their own lanterns; battery-operated candles will, however, be on sale at the school.

Anyone can participate in the event; all that you need to do is bring along a donation of warm clothes or blankets.
