Luso on a winning streak

Germiston City Football Club failed to secure points during their ELFA Super League fixtures against Luso Africa Football Club.

Luso Africa Football Club’s first and second team were in top form during their ELFA Super League fixtures against Germiston City Football Club.

The local derby was held at the Germiston City Sports Club, last Saturday.

The beginning of the first team’s first half saw Germiston owning ball possession but failure to capitalise on that resulted in a goal by Luso’s Fulvio Pereira just before half-time.

Luso maintained their dominance in the second half and Yannick Beyouma extended their lead with a second goal just minutes before the referee blew his whistle to end the fixture.

The final score was 2-0 in favour of Luso.

The reserves’ fixture was also a victory for Luso.

Although they missed a lot of chances, Luso’s reserves dominated the game from start to finish.

Germiston lost 3-0 to Luso.

Dario Pereira and Mdu Mndawe were the goal scorers with Pereira scoring two.
