Lambano supports Hospice Week
Local organisation to open its doors to the public during Hospice Week.
Lambano Sanctuary in Malvern East is actively taking part in the celebration of Hospice Week.
Hospice Week 2017 takes place from May 8 to 12.
Lambano is inviting the public, businesses, schools and churches to visit during their open days, namely May 8 and May 12, to see the services offered by the organisation, as well as the impact Lambano has on those in their care and what hospice care is all about.
Lambano Sanctuary provides holistic residential care to 28 HIV positive children.
In addition the home cares for children with life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses, who are admitted to the paediatric medical step-down facility/hospice.
This is the only children’s hospice in Gauteng.
