EMPD officers from the High Speed Unit once again tackled speedsters on the city’s highways. In an operation, recently, on the N3 highway northbound near the M2 highway split in Germiston, five motorists were apprehended for ignoring the 120km speed limit.

A Margate man in KwaZulu-Natal has been charged with animal cruelty after allegedly drowning a four-week-old puppy in his kitchen sink. The man is believed to have committed this atrocity to silence the crying puppy after it was nipped by its mother.
