Germiston City FC to host trials
The Germiston City Football Club begins their pre-season preparations.
The new Eastern Local Football Association’s (ELFA) Super League is fast approaching and the Germiston City Football Club, is eagerly preparing to take on the new season.
The league will begin in the first week of March.
With this in mind the club’s senior sides will begin training this week, in preparation for the selection trials which will be held this weekend, January 14 and 15.
“We’re appealing to people interested in joining the club, to come to one of this weekend’s trials, at the Germiston City Sports Club,” said Peter Oliver, club chairman.
Trails will be held on Saturday and Sunday, from 9.30am to 1pm.
Thereafter, senior team practices will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.
