A four-year-old girl was brutally murdered, allegedly by her father.
It is reported that the 28-year-old man strangled the little girl with a piece of rope after separating from her mother.
The man, who lives in Palm Ridge, was arrested by the Eden Park police last Monday.
“The motive for the killing is still unknown at this stage,” said Capt Mega Ndobe for the Ekurhuleni West Cluster.
“The case is currently being investigated.”
The man will appear in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court on a charge of murder.
