Laerskool Elspark goes green

Laerskool Elspark’s Green Project yields positive results.

Laerskool Elspark was rewarded with 33 trees for being environmentally friendly by Telesure and Green Office on November 18.

The school’s Grade One to Three students were asked to bring to school empty cartridges for recycling throughout the year.

“Green Office manages the print environment and collect empty cartridges from schools for recycling,” said the account manager at Green Office, Zandalee Naude.

“Laerskool Elspark is one of the schools we collect cartridges from so we just wanted to give them something back as a thank you.

“Telesure sponsored the trees.”

Captain Cartridge, from Green Office, was also at the donation and spent time with the children. This also motivated them to contribute some more towards the school’s Green Project.
