The Primrose police recently arrested a 24-year-old woman for domestic violence.
The arrest was made after the woman’s boyfriend opened a case against her after she allegedly stabbed him with a beer bottle.
“The complainant alleged that he was sleeping when his girlfriend knocked on the door.
“She was drunk and started shouting,” explained Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.
During the altercation she allegedly stabbed him with a beer bottle.
Officers were able to trace the woman and she was arrested.
She has since appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court where the case was postponed for plea and trial.
