Graceland resident Lindiwe Mposi’s single, “Savage”, which was released only in September, is already playlisted on community radio stations.
The 22-year-old, upcoming singer and rapper, known as “Laroxy”, credits her late grandmother, Ruth Ndlovu, as her inspiration and source of support.
With her three-year events and management course almost completed, Laroxy walked away from her studies to follow her passion for music.
Her studies were, however, not wasted, as this feisty woman is not only writing and singing her own material, but also takes care of all managing and marketing functions, to ensure the success of her career.
Her advice to her peers is: “Dream big, be patient, and don’t let anybody tell you that you will never succeed.”
