Fun times for children at Carnival City

Bring the children along for lots of fun and entertainment.

Children take centre-stage at Carnival City during the October schools holidays with a fun-filled line-up of “geared-for-kids” activities daily – many of them free to enjoy.

“Children are important to us at Carnival City, thus we have put together a special holiday programme jam-packed with entertainment just for them,” said Michelle Smith, the marketing manager of Carnival City.

While entertainment for adults never ceases, with live bands and entertainment at the Carnival Bar from Friday to Sunday, the little ones have a whole lot to look forward to until October 9.

From buskers roaming around Carnival City daily, modelling balloons, walking on stilts and juggling, to “tattoo artists” and face painters, there’s fun around every corner.

Little ones can also be entertained by Kallie the Clown, or join in and get creative with some arts and crafts at Pocket Park.

Entertainment and activities to diarise:

  • Friday, October 7: Stilt walking and jesters from noon to 4pm.
  • Saturday, October 8: Face painting, arts and crafts and a marimba band at the casino entrance from noon to 4pm. Kallie the Clown, face painting and arts and crafts will take place at Pocket Park from 6pm to 10pm.
  • Sunday, October 9: Kallie the Clown at Pocket Park all day.
