Bodybuilder takes on the SA championships
Marius Wessels achieved a fifth position at the IFBBSA South African National Bodybuilding and Fitness Championships.

Local bodybuilder Marius Wessels has made his gym proud again.
The co-owner of and a personal trainer at Unique Physique recently represented Gauteng Central at the IFBBSA South African National Bodybuilding and Fitness Championships, which were held at the Playhouse Theatre, in Durban.
Wessels competed in the masters over-50 division and proceeded to the finals after the elimination round.
He finally secured fifth position.
āThe SAās are always a huge event and the competition is very tough,ā Wessels said.
āI thoroughly enjoyed the competition.
āCompetitive bodybuilding and fitness competitions are growing every year and it is exciting times for bodybuilders and fitness models alike, with Wayne Price, the president of IFBB, announcing the launch of the Platinum League, which will see more competitions taking place.ā
