A 26-year-old man was recently arrested for attempted murder.
The arrest was made in the Marathon informal settlement, after police were called to the scene of a shooting.
When they arrived on scene they found a 30-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the upper body.
“He was taken by ambulance to hospital for treatment.
“When has was able to, he gave officers a full description of his attacker,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.
The accused was arrested and will appear in the Germiston Magistrates Court soon.
