The senior primary and high school choirs from Assumption Convent School recently took part in the Johannesburg Festival for the Advancement of Music, at the Linder Auditorium, at Wits University.
The senior primary school choir was awarded honours for their performance of Prayer for the Children and When you Believe.
The high school choir was awarded a diploma plus, the highest award made by the festival, for their performance of Breathe Soft Ye Winds and an a capella version of Swing Low, Sweet Chariot.
