Elsburg talent heads for Polokwane

Puma Rangers Football Club’s senior team will be playing against Polokwane City FC, in August.

Elsburg-based Puma Rangers Football Club is asking the community for a helping hand.

“We are in need of sponsorship, as our senior team will be heading to Polokwane for a fixture against Polokwane City Football Club, in August,” said the club’s secretary, Prince Rulashe.

“This is not a league fixture, but a friendly that will also serve as a great opportunity for our players to be scouted to play for teams in the Premier Soccer League (PSL).

“The boys also played against Kaizer Chiefs Football Club’s reserves side, in June, and it was a great experience and learning curve for the team.”

Rulashe said the club will accept any form of sponsorship.

“Food or contributions towards transportation will be greatly appreciated,” he said.

“We thank Colleen Walker and the Coca-Cola Wadeville plant for the sponsorship of refreshments for the trip.

“Their support is highly appreciated.

“We appeal to companies or individuals to help make this trip possible.”
