The Katlehong police arrested 21 suspects in the period July 8 to 10.
The arrests were made during the Katlehong Police Station’s Crime Prevention Unit’s stop-and-search operation.
The operation saw several check points setup throughout the area.
Suspects were arrested on various charges, including assault, driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of dagga and drinking liquor in public.
All of the accused have appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrates Court, where their cases were postponed for various reasons.
