Members of the Ekurhuleni West Cluster recently held a crime prevention operation in Katlehong South.
The operation was aimed at improving police visibility in the area, and saw 16 people arrested.
Suspects were charged for several different offences including, malicious damage to property, common assault, theft, possession of drugs and dagga, robbery and drinking liquor in a public area.
All of the accused appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court where their cases were postponed for different reasons.
