Paramedics respond to taxi on fire
A taxi burst into flames on the N3 highway, last Friday evening.
ER24 paramedics attended to a taxi incident on the N3 highway, just after Grey Avenue, last Friday evening.
“Upon arrival, paramedics found the taxi well alight,” said Chitra Bodasing, spokesman for ER24.
Ekurhuleni Disaster Management and Emergency Services members extinguished the blaze.
The taxi driver was not found on scene.
“It is understood that there were no passengers in the vehicle at the time of the incident.
“The exact cause of the incident is unknown.
“Authorities were on scene for further investigation,” said Bodasing.
