Police share arrest statistics

The Primrose police shared their latest arrest statistics.

From June 6 to 19, the Primrose police arrested 49 suspects.

This is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the Primrose police.

The suspects were arrested for various crimes in the Primrose area.

Charges included; possession of drugs, armed robbery, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, business robbery and malicious damage to property.

Other charges included driving under the influence of alcohol, theft, domestic violence, theft of a motor vehicle, defeating the ends of justice and possession of suspected stolen property.

The Primrose SAPS station commander, Lieut-Col Albertina Vesi, thanked everyone who contributed to the arrests.

Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrates Court, where their cases were postponed for various reasons.
