The Katlehong police recently arrested a 54-year-old man after he allegedly stabbed his son.
It is alleged that the Katlehong South man was arguing with his 20-year-old son, who he claimed stole cold drinks.
“During the heated argument the accused allegedly took a knife and stabbed his son in the upper body several times,” said Capt Mega Ndobe, communications official for the Katlehong SAPS.
The victim was taken to hospital.
The man has since appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court on a charge of assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
