Katlehong SAPS hold school search
Drugs and teenage pregnancy focus of Katlehong police’s school visit.
The students of Mpontseng Secondary School recently received a visit from the Katlehong South police.
Members of the station’s Social Crime Prevention Unit, together with the area’s sector managers, Katlehong Crime Prevention Youth Desk, and local CPF patrollers were involved in the visit.
Each pupil was searched as they entered the school gates.
After the search the group spoke to the children about several important subjects faced by the youth. The main focus points of the police’s presentation were teenage pregnancy and drug abuse.
