Report metro problems with these numbers

Use these numbers to report municipal problems to the metro.

The Germiston City News is encouraging the community to report any water leaks, electricity outages or other municipal complaints to the metro (see GCN May 13).

This will allow the team to follow up on the complaints with the metro.

The following numbers can be used to report municipal complaints:

The Ekurhuleni call-taking centre: 0860 543 000

Customer care centre: 011 999-0624/0520

Sewerage leaks: 086 054 3000

Electricity issues: 086 054 3000

Potholes: 086 054 3000

Refuse removal: 011 999-1267/8015

Electricity and water readings: Lionel.Springhall@ekurhuleni.gov.za, Antoinette.Joubert@ekurhuleni.gov.za and Lerato.Sekhula@ekurhuleni.gov.za

Life-threatening emergencies: 10177, 011 458-0911, or dial 112 from your cellphone (all networks), or call the Ekurhuleni Emergency Services on 0860 543 000.
