Unique Physique bodybuilders shine
Father and son both place in recent bodybuilding competition.
The bodybuilding competition season is now in full swing, with Primrose-based gym Unique Physique shining at competitions.
The gym recently had father and son Marius and Logan Wessels participate in the Millennium Gold Plate Bodybuilding Competition.
Wessels told the GCN that a record number of athletes entered the competition this year.
Marius entered the over-50 years division, while Logan entered the very tough 65kg men’s division.
Although Logan is still a junior and only 18, he placed an excellent seventh in a very difficult men’s division, while Marius placed a close second in his division.
The Millennium Gold Plate was the last qualifying competition for the Arnold Classic, set to be held on May 27 and 28.
