The Germiston SAPS are currently investigating a case of attempted murder, after a taxi driver was shot in the face, on Wednesday.
The man was attacked by two unknown assailants inside his taxi, at the Germiston Taxi Rank.
He was rushed to hospital for medical attention.
No suspects have been arrested as yet.
In an unrelated incident, later that same day, a taxi was set alight at the same taxi rank.
The Germiston SAPS are investigating.
