Team gets helping hand
Local company Trelleborg SA help Laerskool Elspark netball team prepare for their netball tour.
Leondale company Trelleborg recently sponsored 20 kits for Laerskool Elspark’s netball team.
The kits included a sports bag, a water bottle and cap, as well as a few small extras for each of the team’s members.
The company became involved when they received a request from the school for a donation toward the netball team’s upcoming tour.
“Trelleborg SA wants to get more involved in the community and schools around us, and saw this as a great opportunity for us to start,” said Saartjie Roos, marketing specialist.
Saartjie and her colleague Ronel Pretorius handed out the kit to the thrilled members of the team at the school in Finch Street, Elspark, last Monday.
