The Germiston community came together to raise over R8 000 for Cansa.
The money was collected in two Cansa Shavathon events, the first hosted by Mamba Security, last Saturday, and the second by the Primrose Sector Three CPF, last Sunday.
Mamba managed to raise R5 000 by not only hosting the event at their offices in Fishers’ Hill, but by taking the Cansa Shavathon to local companies.
The team thank their sponsors, Misty Hills Spur, Adventure Kids Jumping Castles, Flamingo’s Unisex Hair and Beauty Salon, Mustang Diner and Terry’s Car Wash for all the support.
The Primrose Sector Three CPF were thrilled with the community’s involvement in their event, held in the upper parking area of the Primrose Square, and thank Momentum SA for sponsoring the hairspray used on the day.
