Hoërskool Goudrif out-performs other schools

Hoërskool Goudrif were the overall winners at the recent inter-high athletics event.

They received awards as the overall winners of the girls’ and boys’ teams, and overall winners for the 11th consecutive year.

The school congratulates the following athletes who excelled at the meeting:

• Pedro Aaron received a first place in the senior boys’ athlete and best senior track athlete categories.
•  Cayline van Rooyen took third places in the senior best girls’ and best field athlete categories, and first place in the best senior track athlete category.
•  Angelia Gouws achieved first places in the senior girls’ athlete and best field athlete categories.
• Rochelle Botha took first place in the best junior girls’ athlete and best field athlete categories and was the second placed junior girls’ track athlete.
• Marizhan van Zyl took third place for best junior track athlete.
• Krishé Els received third place for best senior girls’ athlete.
• Hein Loots took second place in the best senior boys’ athlete category.
• Elliot Asieng placed third for best junior boys’ track athlete.
