Time trials in full swing
Athletes were in good form at Tuesday’s Germiston Callies Harriers’ time trials.
The 2016 Germiston Callies Harriers’ time trials are in full swing.
The popular time trials started in January and are held outside the Germiston Stadium’s main gate, in Delville Road North, with 4km and 8km distances offered.
The trials give runners an opportunity to hone their skills.
Some of the times recorded in the 4km run were:
- Johannes Teffo: 15 minutes and 25 seconds.
- Watson Matlou: 15 minutes and 27 seconds.
- Kabelo Maroga: 18 minutes and 54 seconds.
- Abram Maroga: 19 minutes and 40 seconds.
- Elton Rapodile: 22 minutes and 14 seconds.
- Susan Mdaka: 22 minutes and 14 seconds.
- Lindy Buthelezi: 33 minutes and 15 seconds.
- Monique Lindeque: 34 minutes.
Some of the times recorded in the 8km run were:
- Skosh Dlamini: 36 minutes and 40 seconds.
- Udo Niederbroker: 41 minutes and 16 seconds.
