‘Don’t pick on the SPCA’

The SPCA does a sterling job looking after our animals says resident.

Cat Hemmant, Germiston, writes:

I was astounded to read that an Elsburg resident claimed the Germiston SPCA had not cared properly for the goslings by not reuniting them with the mother, when they had, indeed, made every attempt to do so.

This is a very unfair accusation, as the SPCA does a sterling job looking after our animals and should be praised, not criticised, especially not in the media.

As an animal lover I take strong exception to people making adverse comments when some members of the human race can hardly look after their own.

The SPCA did their best in adverse circumstances and should be given a well-deserved pat on the back.
